An ergonomic ruler to support the independence of children/adolescents.

Many children face a loss of autonomy, which may result from an accident, injury or neurological disease.

Among the difficulties encountered in their daily lives and their learning, there is the use of geometry equipment including the ruler. Many models exist on the market but the gripping methods are limited: ruler with a smooth face, too small a handle, ruler too large or stigmatizing.

For some children, the motor skills of the hand do not allow all the grips expected for their age, which sometimes limits the use of the material intended for their age. This difficulty can cause frustration, increase the feeling of differentiation, sadness and a loss of self-confidence or in one's ability to do things alone.
